This series of work goes beyond the conventional boundaries of photography. Through experimentation in the darkroom, Mark has progressively departed from traditional use of cameras, film, matrices and stencils in his creative process.
Some of these artworks have been created by using objects to influence light and form distinctive shapes. Other works are made by working with only light and photographic paper. Mark embraces chance, watches time, and manipulates light to create these unique abstract images.
These works are on display at Eden Court in Inverness throughout August 2025.
